Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Master Certified Detailer?

Detail 2 U has completed the Auto Detailing "Master Certification" training by Meguiar's. We are a full service Auto Detailing Company and our passionate staff have over 22 Years Experience.

Is Detail 2 U Eco-friendly?

Yes! Here at Detail 2 U we think, act and teach "Green Technology." Our new approach to the car care industry is our smart detailing solutions. Our new car care cleaning system not only saves our environment but saves millions of gallons in our water conservation efforts as well. We are doing our part to continue to protect our planet, save our precious water resources and educate our customers on the very best in water smart solutions.

My vehicle is new. Does it need to be detailed?

Yes. A new vehicle doesn't mean a flawless and protected vehicle. Many times when a vehicle leaves the factory, it is shipped unprotected by semi or train and can be exposed to harsh contaminants. It is then usually improperly washed by inexperienced lot attendants, causing further damage (swirl marks, scratching, etc) to the exterior. We recommend that new vehicle has all harsh contaminants removed, is then polished back to flawless finish and protected with a Ceramic Coating. Ceramic Coatings are the most current technology in detailing and offer your vehicle the ultimate protection including scratch resistance and up to 9 years of longevity.

Are you licensed and insured to work on my vehicle?

Yes. Detail 2 U is licensed and insured to work on your vehicle. This is an important qualification in determining a Professional Detailer from a novice. You will find that most Detail 2 U technicians have over 20 years experience in reconditioning automobiles. Make sure the detailer you choose has a current business license and liability insurance before you allow them to work on your vehicle.

How often should I detail my car?

At Detail 2 U we recommend a basic detail every 4-6 months. This helps to keep your car in pristine condition and ensures that the products used on your car are at optimum working condition. For your convenience, ask for a re-occuring appointment so we can help you to keep your car's detail schedule on track!

What methods of payments are accepted?

Detail 2 U wants to make everything as convenient as possible for our clients. For this reason, we accept payments made by cash, check and all major credit cards.
